This is a prevalent wild yellow flower around my yard and neighborhood that is very invasive and blooming now in VA. It is about 3-4 feet tall with yellow flower spikes as seen in picture. Nice leave structure. Seems pretty common around here but not sure what it is. Appreciate any identification.

Verbesina… Probably Verbesina occidentalis Not invasive… Verbesina is a great native wildflower… attractive to bees and butterflies and birds.
