Have no idea what this is but want to know if I should get rid of it when clearing land.

I don’t see any thorns on this weed. Horse nettle would have a plenty. Could this be another variety perhaps, black nightshade?

Looks like horse nettle, I’d get rid of it. Pulling these sticker weeds isn’t something that’s done and forgotten, they keep coming back from any of the root that gets left behind… So I end up pulling them over and over….
