I live in Forsyth County. My plants have been infested with small white flies. IÕve tried to spray them with ÔSevenÕ and a Bayer Product, but that didnÕt seem to helpÉor perhaps there are so many of them, I canÕt tell if it worked. They are on everything. Rose of Sharon, tomato plantsÉ They are on plant that are in the shade and full sun. Please Help! They are taking over! Thank you for your assistance.

You could also use” sticky traps “placed near the affected plants. You can purchase them online. I know Home Depot has them on their website. When spraying , make sure you spray under the leaves where the white fly are and spray often. Preferably with something organic .

Maybe you’re right – that the infestation is so widespread you’re not getting them all, and they just repopulate where you’ve killed them.

I don’t know why using powder would make any difference, but when I get white flies on my tomatoes, sprinking with Sevin dust promptly gets rid of them.
