Notes:
Please I need help to determine what kind of plant is this, this plant/tree already ruin my farm field. I tried spraying a herbicide but it only kills the leaves but the trunk and roots still intact and strong. It grows rapidly. the only way I remove this is through plowing but it takes time and effort.

The plants details are not clear enough to help narrow down its ID. With the opposite stems, whorled purple coloring leaves, I’m wondering if these are in the Madder (Rubiaceae) family? But with out flowers & fruits to confirm I can only speculating. Sorry, I’m not able to tell what kind of plant you have. Link below is for images of one of the species from the genus Rubia (from the Rubiaceae family) which shown the similar characteristics. You could try to contact the experts from the ‘ CoÕs Digital Flora of the Philippines’ under column ‘About’ for your plant exact ID.
