Notes:
This running rose has been running loose for several years. I would like to know when and how far I can prune it. It is very spindly and I would like to get it to bush out a little more. I cleaned out some trees that were covering it up so it should be getting more sunlight.

With so many roses classes & hybrids, it’s hard to tell without more information i.e. fragrant or not, number of leaflets, shape of rose hip blooming habit (once, re-blooming or continuous)etc… I’m wondering if yours might be the hybrid musk ‘Ballerina’? The included link below is the care & pruning for ‘Ballerina’. Again this is only a wild guess. Best you contact the Gwinnett Rose Society for a confirmed ID. According to sources, their meetings is open to anyone at no cost. Best wishes! https://www.1001-landscaping-ideas.com/ballerina-roses.html
