Notes:
Clump growing rapidly in a new bed, overtaking Knockout roses and other shrubs. New top growth has burgundy tinge. A piece was easily pulled up from the edge of the clump. Next to golf course.

I can’t see details clear enough to call. I’m taking a wild guess only here. Maybe a type of beautyberry (Callicarpa)? According to sources, first year seedlings are easy to pull up.
