Notes:
I bought this plant last year and the leaves promptly fell off. I thought it was dead, but it came back and I can’t remember what I bought.

It has grown a lot. I’ll see if I can get a new picture with close ups of the leaves and trunk. If I can get it clearly with the macro lenses, I’ll do that.

Please resubmit when it grows more mature. Without flowers we need other clues to key out. Closeup of leaves & main trunk would be helpful. For now I’m wondering if something in flowering crab apple? Check out one in the group, tea Crabapple (Malus hupehensis) from the included link below. Again I’m only speculating. Best wishes! https://www.utoledo.edu/nsm/arboretum/Crabapple.html

Have you considered using the “picture this” app to help identify? I believe it allows you to take an image of the leaves and then matches it with potential options. That might help your recollection.
