Hi. I took this picture on March 15th. Please tell me the name of the weed. Can you also tell me what type of post-emergent to use now to kill it off? And, what type of pre-emergent to use next year and the best time to apply so they don’t germinate next winter.

Please make new post with closeup plant’s details i.e. leaves, stems and flowers if there any. For now I’m speculating maybe a cranesbills species (Geranium) (?).
