Notes:
This grass has sprouted during the warmer months of last winter and continues to spread through the warm (but not hot) seasons. When I put in Bermuda sod two seasons ago, I noticed that there were a few green blades that had not been scraped down below the root level. I should have stopped, but thought the Bermuda sod would outcompete them. But they are taking over the lawn. Do you know what the grass is and do you have any suggestions for eradicating it without destroying the Bermuda?

Can you give us other details i.e. closeup of flowers, seeds, blade, ligule, etc…? Sorry, I can’t tell for certain what kind yours is. Check out these include links for helpful tips to ID grass genera & species. Thank you & best wishes!
