I’m not sure this tree is native to this area. The home owner up the street planted this tree. It grew really fast. It was planted only 2 or 3 years ago and it is now taller than the two story home it is planted beside. In this picture you can see the leaf is bigger than my foot. I wear a size 9 shoe. The original person that planted this tree told me that ALL the leaves fall off the first time it gets 32 degrees or below outside. That really does happen.
