Notes:
The first two pictures are of Jalapeno pepper plants that have thrived and produced extra hot peppers, but the leaves have started to curl and discolor, what is causing this? The last picture is of my poor attempt to grow romaine lettuce. I’ve heard lettuce is easy to grow, so why am I failing so badly? It is running along the ground instead of standing up in a head. I have also had a similar problem with broccoli running along the ground and never growing upright. Any ideas?

This is a great website to ID plant problems. http://www.co.missoula.mt.us/extension/plantdata/PLANTS/pepper/index.html For the lettuce, were those plants purchased? They seem rather leggy to start. Maybe try just planting from seed.
