Notes:
I let this guy grow on a hill in the backyard where I can’t mow. I’ve never noticed it flower, but now it has these tiny seed pods. In 24 months it’s now about 5 feet tall.

Compare the leaves of your plant to the Eastern Baccharis. There are both male and female plants in this species. The female has a very showy white bloom in the fall. Your’s could be a male plant. http://plants.usda.gov/java/largeImage?imageID=baha_008_avp.tif
