Notes:

I thought I was planting a poblano pepper seed. Any idea what this plant is? It is starting to form pods (shown).

Looks like Martynia annua Unicorn plant because of the seedpod shape and also called Devil’s Claw http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/mv091

Doesn’t look much like Paulownia to me – and I dislike them enough that I should know. The pod shown is distinctive, but I can’t recall what plant has one like that. The photo does not show the full leaf shape or the overall growth habit of the plant, so it’s difficult to suggest other possibilities.

I did some more research. It is a Paulownia tree! My neighbor also has one growing – more like a straight bean stalk! I am getting rid of it today!

Looks more like some kind of squash in the leaves. Will be interesting to see what the pods turn into. I don’t know what a poblano actually looks like as a plant.
