I do not have a green thumb & new to this , but received this from grandmothers funeral & really hoping to keep it alive. It had red flowers on it when I got it, that eventually withered.

My guess would be mandevilla, in which case you can put it outside when the weather is temperate but need to keep it indoors for the winter. Don’t be alarmed if it loses a good bit of its leaves, that is pretty normal for overwintering mandevillas. Just put it out again next spring when there’s no danger of it being less than 50 degrees.
