This 5 foot tree is in yard. If you look closely, you can see a dried hyrangea looking flower. I thought it might be a snowball tree; but leaves don’t match. So wondering

The paniculata is the ONLY hydrangea that can be pruned into a tree form. The name “paniculata” comes from the fact that many of the blooms are panicle-shaped (somewhat cone shaped) rather than ball-shaped. They start white and can age into a pink by fall, Best that I could find for you. Hope this helps.
