Notes:
This is sideways pic of bottom of my tree. It is oozing gray, fermented-like smelling liquid/sap which is attracting insects etc. There is a scar on the tree trunk about 2 feet above where the sap is running out. Don’t know what caused the scar. Tree looks healthy – leaves green etc. Not sure if it is an oak or what kind of tree. Is tree in trouble? Anything I should do?
