Notes:
I noticed this tree out behind our hotel room. In the morning when we were leaving to go out it had yellow flowers just like in the photo, but I noticed as the day went on, the flowers had changed to like a deep red color and then when it became nighttime they changed to an orange color. I was just wondering if you could tell me what it is and if it would be able to be grown around the Atlanta, GA area. Thank you

I want to correct: ‘grow out door in Atlanta, GA’ to ‘grow outdoor in the winter in Atlanta, GA’. With container plant, it could be kept out door during the warm weather.

Maybe a type of hibiscus, check out sea hibiscus (Hibiscus tiliaceus syn. Talipariti tiliaceum) and see if you have a match. This tropical plant is too tender to grow out door in Atlanta, GA. However according to the included link below it can be grown in container. Best wishes! http://www.hibiscus.org/species/htiliaceus.php
