Notes:
The vines are 12′ long, about 8 off the same root. The leaves are 12″ across and larger. The vegetable is edible because in its small stage, I’ve microwaved it AND baked it in olive oil one layer in a Pyrex. Delicious just as yellow squash is. Hidden under the plants that are thigh high are squash blossoms that are good in omelets AND huge sizes of the squash. Even when heavy as a watermelon, the skin is smooth and soft–not hard and crusty–and the things are still growing.
