These two pictures are of the same small shrub. Please can you identify what is the name of it? and also advise me if the shrub has disease by looking at the picture of the leaves. Some of the leaves are half brown. Also couple of shrubs have still not bloomed as seen from the picture. Also what kind of fertilizer, if any, be used around the roots. any other tips to make this shrub more healthy will be much appreciated.

I wouldn’t be trying to salvage those, they look finished. I think that it’s time to look at this bed and think about the great oppurtunity you have… Do you like tomatoes?

looks like Indian Hawthorn. I’ve seen many that were killed or severely damaged by the extra cold winter, while others seem to be fine. I’m guessing some varieties are more cold tolerant than others.
