Notes:
I have hardly no details on this particular reddish plant that was growing in my yard when we moved to our house in Aug 2012, It only grew (bloomed) that one year.. I do not know much about flowers as I have never planted anything until we moved into our home we have now. I would very much like to have these flowers again in my yard if I can possibly find out the name.. It is the reddish color found behind the cactus in one picture and it is in front of the cactus on the second picture

You might look up celosia. Common Name is cockscomb. Can’t tell for sure from the pictures. Good luck with your gardening ventures! It’s great fun.
