Hi! I had to try my hand at caring for this plant the moment I saw it because it’s so unusual! Unfortunately when I purchased it I could not get much information on it other than it requires full sun and a well draining sandy soil. I’ve had it on my patio here in southern CA for about 8 months now and it seems to be doing well but really has not grown much. It’s flowers are orchid like but the leaves and stems are like a succulent. Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! =) It is a Euphorbia, “Masai Spurge” or EUPHORBIA NEOCOCCINEA to be exact.

It looks like a euphorbia of some type… I’m not really a fan of e genus, can’t say exactly which one you have… They generally do well with full sun, and little water… I’m kinda surprised that your’s has so little leafy growth…
