The plant is cactus like. It make the flower only once in August.

It’s an Epiphyllum cactus or a similar genus. These epiphytic cacti are natives of rainforests or cloud forests. While drought tolerant for a while, they prefer moist soil and reasonably high humidity. Probably best grown in a hanging basket.
