Found on a large tree in Bradenton, FL in February 2018. Flower is large as can be seen by the hand holding it. 5 petals – kind of waxy feeling. The flower came from a pod. I was thinking it was a red magnolia blossom — but not finding pictures on the web that match this one. Thank you — Brenda
