Notes:
I found this little tree growing in an area mulched with bark mulch. I assume it to be an oak but don’t know which kind. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Looks like it might be a turkey oak. We have lots of them here in Florida. They are terrible oaks . They are brittle, break off easily, never get a nice shape. If it is, probably best to pull it out now.
