Notes:
This is a very invasive plant. It is all over the shady side of my yard and is growing like crazy under my cryptomeria and burford hollies. When I try to pull it out it just breaks off at the stem. When I try to dig the roots out they are like a vine growing horizontally.

It’s difficult to see other details from straight down angle. I’m taking a guess for now, maybe a species in the sumac genus (Rhus)? Check it out and see if you have a match. The second link is control method for sumac. If this isn’t sumac, please resubmit as the plant grows more mature with photos of the plant side views & closeup of its leaflets. Best wishes!
