Notes:
My first guess is that this is a leaf from a tree in the maple family but I am not sure which one. I have checked my field guide and don’t see anything that looks exactly like this. I guess I am more of a gardening novice than I thought. Thanks for the help.

Thank you, Walter! The Trident is not listed in my Audubon manual. Guess that’s due to it not being a native species.

No, I’m pretty sure it’s not a sassafras leaf. This came from a large tree planted in a commercial landscape. Sassafras does not grow to this size and shape. Also, I know what sassafras looks like. Thanks for the comment though.
