Notes:
This was a single plant found by a farm pond in Southern Oregon. I have no idea if it is native. There are lots of birds there, and seed could have been brought in from anywhere! Leaves are opposite, and the leaves above the fork are different shape than leaves below the fork. Seed pods have 3 small [in relation to pod size] black seeds inside. Pods are green, but if the plant had been allowed to mature longer, it’s possible they would have changed color.

This is Euphorbia . Also known as the Mole Plant as it is reputed to deter moles .
