Defineitely not Cryptomeria. Most likely Juniperus chinenesi ‘Shimpaku’ especially if its being used as bonsai. They can be easily maintained like this and grow pretty slow for a juniper. –Jordan- Student at Gwinnett Technical College and Employee at Randy’s Nursery in Lawrenceville
