Notes:
Does anybody know what this? The tree limb is dead and if that stuff growing on it caused the limb to die I’d like to do something to save the tree. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Kirk Flower Fanatic says:
It is some kind of crust like fungi. Too far away to tell exactly what kind. It is growing on an already dead branch. Just cut the limb off close to the tree or let it fall off on it’s own. It shouldn’t affect the tree at all.
