Notes:
I have recently moved into a new house and a few interesting plants are forming around our pond. The first plant in the picture smells heavily of citrus. I’m guessing the others may also be edible. My wife thinks the last picture is spring onion. Please prove her wrong. I would be very grateful if anyone could shed some light and let me know if they are good for the fridge or not.

The top pic looks like mugwort to me. (artimesia family) I wouldn’t eat it…. But, don’t they make Absinthe out of that stuff? Not sure whether that’s safe to consume… The strawberry? Beautiful leaves… Not sure whether it might be a duchesnea or an alpine strawberry. The last… Common garden chives.

The first is a citronella or mosquito plant. Not sure if that is actually edible, but it does help keep away the mosquitoes. That last looks like some kind of onion relative, though I can’t be sure which. The middle one looks almost like some variety of strawberry but if so it should be blooming now and it is not in that picture.

1. I’m not sure. Leaves look similar to celery but with Citrus smell, hmmmm 2. Strawberries. They’ll bloom and bear in the southern US around June. 3. Chives, almost spring onions.
