Notes:
I have 2 camellia trees ea. a different variety. Both planted in my backyard; one on the NE side having less problems with these diseases than the 1 on the SW. Back yard is adjacent to woods with tall sun blocking trees. Pix 1 is underside of leaves from SE tree & pix 2 is underside of ones from NE tree -showing more of the brownish black which I can’t identify; I thought the white to be powdery mildew. Treatment chlorine water solution washed off by hand followed by ‘Organocide’. Pix 3 new.

My camellia leaves have become discolored and have brown spots since the last Atlanta freeze. Hope that’s what it is and not some disease.

Looks like scale, very common on camellias. http://www.walterreeves.com/gardening-q-and-a/camellia-tea-scale/
