I see this BEAUTIFUL tree now and then that has red leaves all year round. I believe it’s a maple, but it doesn’t have the feather leaves and is larger than a Japanese Red Maple. Can you help me identify the exact species? I’d love to make one of these trees the centerpiece of my front yard. Thank you! MikeE

Looks like a Japanese Maple. Could be the cultivar ‘Bloodgood’ as these are quite popular.
