What type of banana plant is this. I live in Norcross, and notice I have a bloom. Will the fruit be edible?

I am no banana expert, so I donÕt know what variety you have. I have grown ornamental bananas that had pink flowers but the fruit had so many seeds you wouldnÕt want to eat it.
