Notes:
This plant appeared in my bed last year. The new growth is deep red. The plant grows straight – I am intrigued by the plant and would like to know what it might be. Someone mentioned they thought it was a Cherry tree runner but i don’t have a Cherry tree in the front yard and there are no blooms

Can you resubmit with closeup of the leaves, base of leaves, their underside, stems & main trunk? It’s hard to tell more from this distance. For now, a wild guess only; if the plant didn’t loose it leaves in the past winter then something in the Red-Tip Photinia perhaps? Thank you & best wishes!
