Notes:
This all-yellow plant (all leaves, no flowers) is growing out of the exposed 2X4 under the stucco wall of our townhouse apartment, between the garage door and a bed of bushes between us and our neighbor. It has been there since at least last summer–just grown larger, two stalks since we first noticed it, no green on it.

The leaves are not clear enough to tell. I’m guessing only, your plant might be some type of Euonymus japonicus with achlorophyllous (containing no chlorophyll) leaves. Maybe these links below can help further. You can also try the experts at the Variegated Plant Special Interest Group. Best wishes! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variegation http://www.botgard.ucla.edu/html/botanytextbooks/generalbotany/shootfeatures/generalstructure/leafcolor/variegation.html

I thought I uploaded this correctly, but now it’s sideways. This is not a vine but two stalks standing straight up out of the slightly damaged stucco next to our garage door. The green shown here on the bottom is part of a hedge to the right of the plant. Never seen anything like it before.
