Notes:
My neighbor has several of these purplish vine shrubs growing just on the other side of my pasture fence. I know that he bought them and set them out. My goats are eating them as they grow through the fence. There are many plants and trees that are poisonous to goats. I am just interested in the name of this plant so I can look it up. Greenish, Purplish leaves, purple stems and veins in the leaves and it looks like a low growing vine shrub that grows oh…. 2 feet tall. Thanks for any help!

Can you resubmit with better focus of these leaves , stem on a less busy background i.e. with a white color paper/carboard? Also a view of these plants from few feet away. I can’t tell from the given photos if the plants are climber or a prostrate ground cover type and whether the leaves are opposite or alternate. I have a few candidates but with the safety for your goats, we want to be as accurate as possible. Thank you and best wishes!
