Notes:
This plant has 6 lobe leaves on each branch, a green pod with black seeds, and a small yellow flower. It is growing in South Carolina, as an annual. I have never seen it before, and it is unique enough to be easily identified.

Thank You —-Bless You This is it, Senna O. — the Google images are exact. There are about ten plants in a clutch and we will look for butterfly activity in the following days. Again Thank You

It certainly is unique and an important butterfly host plant. coffee weed, (Senna obtusifolia) I was lucky enough (last week), to catch a cloudless sulfur in an egg-laying frenzy: http://gardens-in-the-sand.blogspot.com/2012/08/cloudless-sulfur.html
