Roundup Tips – Bermudagrass
Q: As a northern transplant, I didn’t know about the sheer destructive nature of bermuda grass in my flower bed. I tried spraying Roundup but it’s nearly impossible not to get it on the growth of my daylilies. Any tips?
A: A good way to apply glyphosate (Roundup, etc) accurately is to put on a rubber glove then pull a cotton sock over your protected hand. Dip the sock in your herbicide solution and wipe it on the visible bermudagrass every four weeks. This is easy to accomplish and much more controllable than spraying the weedkiller.
