Tumbleweed Allium – Identification
Q: A guy who does yard work for us brought this to us. Said he found four of them growing in a field. I have never seen anything like it.
A: It’s a tumbleweed allium, Allium schubertii.
The seedheads are very distinctive on the plant and they make a great centerpiece to a dried arrangement.
I like it a lot!
