Plant Names – Harley

Q: My sister just lost her five year old bulldog Harley to cancer. I want to give her a plant whose name is somehow related to “Harley”. I have been looking but can’t seem to find what I am looking for. Do you have any suggestions?

A: I can’t think of anything that is named “motorcycle” or “Harley”. But what about a hosta named ‘American Icon’ or ‘Silver Streak’? Go to Plants Delight Nursery, Inc. and search “hosta” or look for ‘Heavy Metal’ switchgrass.
