Fig bush has lobed and unlobed leaves
Q: Here’s an unusual sight: two kinds of leaves – figgy and non-figgy – emerging from a single branch on my fig bush. A penny (or a jar of fig preserves) for your thoughts?
A: I haven’t noticed it either. But online fig experts say it is common to see lobed and unlobed leaves on the same plant in some varieties.
There shouldn’t be any effect on the fruit but let me know…. and I’ll take you up on you fig preserves offer.
