Crapemyrtle – Pruned Correctly, Before and After
Q: Here are my crapemyrtles before pruning and after pruning. They had never been pruned before and each was about 25 feet tall.
They are adjacent to my driveway and when in bloom or when carrying ice were severely encroaching on my driveway. In addition they were above the roof line and close enough to the house that they were making deposits to my gutter system.
How did I do with the pruning? I took about 10 to 12 feet off the top of each.
A: You did well enough to feature them here!
