Earthworm Castings – Eradicating
Q: I have a well established Meyers zoysiagrass lawn. For the past year or so, I’ve had a problem with worm castings. While I understand the worms and castings are beneficial, the castings present an aesthetic mess and I would like to eradicate the worms. Any suggestions?
A: I think a water hose to wash them down is your best bet. Most pesticides are thoroughly tested to be sure they DON’T hurt worms…and I don’t think you should hurt yours.
