France and Italy Trip – 2016

In response to several requests, I’m hosting a trip to southern France and Italy on May 29 – June 9, 2016!

Northern Italy, Southern France and Provence seem to make seasoned travelers swoon. “It is just so beautiful… and the food is so delicious… and the landscape is so pretty….” and then they lapse into memories of their own trips. So I want to go there too!

My friends at Earthbound Expeditions have put together a fantastic itinerary.

We’re going to gardens in Bellagio, Menton, Monaco, and Arles, and visiting the flower markets of Nice. We’re tasting the wines of the Rhone valley. I’m getting dreamy about it and I haven’t even been there yet!

But here’s something you need to know: there will be a lot of interest in this trip from folks who have gone with me to South Africa, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Ireland, and Cuba.

Most importantly, have no fear that “I won’t know anyone.” (you know me!), “What if the people aren’t nice?” (we’re gardeners, silly. We’re nice by nature!), or “Will my spouse enjoy it?” (there is something for everyone on this trip! Gardeners, non-gardeners, wine lovers, art appreciators, walkers and lazy folks can always find something to enjoy.)
