Bean Teepee (Bean House) – Construction
Q: We made a bean house with field fence sections and topped it with a cucumber trellis that was too short for us to use for cucumbers. It turned out to be very effective for growing beans and made them very easy to pick.
A: Very nice! My Athens friend Bill Merka used concrete reinforcement wire panels to make a curved-top bean house. He could easily stand up in it and pick the beans that hung down.
