Rose- Twisted Leaves
Q: I have several varieties of roses. This spring all the rose bushes in my center garden, about 15 bushes, never leafed out. They only produced very tiny dwarfed leaves. The rose bushes on the edge of my lawn 15 feet away leafed, flowered and grew as usual. Any suggestions?
A: Sounds like either a virus or herbicide damage. It’s hard to determine which; virus-affected leaves are typically mottled in color…herbicide-damaged leaves are smaller than normal or twisted.
