Vermiculite – Finding
Q: I am a new gardener trying to find vermiculite for my Square Foot garden. I haven’t been able to find grade #3 coarse vermiculite. Can you help me find a supplier?
A: Coarse vermiculite won’t be too much of a problem to use, but finding it will be hard. Author Mel Bartholomew’s recommendations can be found at the Square Foot Gardening website.
Call your local Pike Nursery, Gro-South in Tucker or Hastings Garden Center in Brookhaven to see if they can find some for you.
