What is getting into my gomphrena flowers? Each morning, I find decapitated plant stems forlornly hanging over a dozen newly shredded blooms below. It's not deer; these plants are on an outdoor porch 15 feet up a long staircase. The destruction appears to happen overnight. Common bad actors here: rats? raccoons? flying squirrels? What could it be?
