Located in a very shady spot..deeply lobed leaves with a blackberry like fruit

Yes, Fatsia Japonica! We have this also. I waited till the dark berries matured (blue & soft initially, then they turn black and dry out) and put them into pots of potting soil and kept them watered through the winter in the garage. This spring I have a nice collection of them. It’s an awesome plant – evergreen here in GA and makes a beautiful backdrop along a fence. Keep it well watered and just pull those yellow leaves and stems off when they appear to keep it pretty!
