Notes:
I think this seed came in a bag of deer resistant wildflowers – bloomed first in 2020 – this one is from saved seed – as you can see, the “blooms” look like tiny birds – their tummies become the bright green seed pod and there are probably 50 seeds in each pod – this plant is over 6′ tall. The birds are about an inch long.

The direct sunlight on the plant is making it difficult to see details of flowers, leaves & fruits. I’m guessing maybe a species of rattlepod (Crotalaria)? If this is of the genus, I’m not certain of the species. According to sources, the narrow-leaf rattlepod (C. lanceolata) fruit can have 20-50 seeds.
